Harvest Time

An abandoned Spanish-style home, still whispering its stories

This still life was a true lesson in patience and observation. Every piece of produce had its own texture and personality, from the glossy peppers to the leafy parsley, but the corn stood out as the most demanding. Capturing the light and shadow on each kernel made them feel like their own tiny paintings.

The Story Behind the Canvas

The process was deeply rewarding. As the vegetables came together — the warm yellows, crisp greens, and vibrant reds — they formed a cheerful, bountiful scene.

This painting captures the joy of simple, wholesome beauty, reminding us that even the most ordinary things, like fresh produce, can be full of character when we take the time to appreciate them.
